Select and download either DualShock 4 or DualShock 3 variant. Unzip the download and copy the folder BmGame into the game's directory and overwrite existing files. Default directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Batman Arkham Asylum GOTY\. Hasn't been tested with non-GOTY version but should work just fine.

I think this is the same way you exited the botanical garden after seeing Ivy the first time (or 2nd if you count cell), so I don't know why people keep getting lost here.
