The gearbox cracks when you switch gears: The oil has absolutely lost viscosity and is too fluid, so the gears get stuck. Difficulty to shift gears: Same problem as just before, the oil is most certainly too fluid. Automatic gearbox oil replace. A slow begin from the neutral position to the first one: quite often a viscosity problem.
The oil can't be drained in one go, you'll only get a small amount out. So top that up by the same amount, run the engine, cycle the gears, switch off engine.
